Samsung introduces Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus with 64K camera capable of recording 8K

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus with the best changes in the screen, battery and camera department. Samsung has used better cameras than their other phones in the S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus (Samsung Galaxy S20 +) has a dynamic emulated screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The 6.7-inch panel resolution of this phone is 1440p + and Aspect ratio 20: 9. This means that the phone is as wide as the S10 Plus but it is much higher.

On the back of this phone is a 12 megapixel main camera with a large pixel size of 1.8µm. The pixel size of the S10’s main camera was 1.4µm. The aperture of this camera is f / 1.8 and it also has the feature of optical image stabilization (OIS).

This phone’s telephoto camera is by far the highest resolution ie 64 megapixel zoom camera. Samsung advertised it with up to 3x hybrid zoom and 30x super resolution zoom. It also has a bright aperture of OIS f / 2.0.

This 64 megapixel camera allows this phone to record 8K video. The Galaxy S20 trio is the first phone to offer 8K video recording.

Note that the single frame of an 8K video is 33 megapixels, which is much higher than the resolution of many current flagships.

This phone has an ultra wide angle (120 degree) camera of 12 megapixel. This is the same camera in all three phones of the Galaxy S20. The Plus version also has a DepthVision camera for depth-based effects.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus has Snapdragon 865 or the Ignis 990 chip set.
It depends on the market which chip sets in the phone. This phone has by default 5G connectivity (sub-6GHz and mmWave). 4G models of this phone will also be offered in some countries. The basic configuration of this phone is 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The better option then is 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Storage through the microSD card slot in the phone can be expanded up to 1 TB.

The phone has a 4500mAh battery, which can be charged fast with a 25W wireless charger or a 15W wireless charger.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 8GB / 128GB (FiveG connectivity option) is priced at 1100 euros or $ 1199. The phone will be available in Cloud Blue, Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black colors.

Samsung Galaxy S20

Samsung has no longer introduced any “E” model of this phone.
Samsung Galaxy S20 is the smallest of the three phones. Its display is 6.2 inches. It has the same screen size as its predecessor but is slightly wider and taller due to the 20: 9 aspect ratio. Like the S20 Plus, its screen refresh rate is 120 Hz and the resolution is 1440p +.

Its 10-megapixel selfie camera is similar to the S10 Generation but its punch hole is now smaller and in-between.

The S20 Plus has the same front camera. Like the S10 Plus, it has no depth sensor on the front.
The rear camera of the Galaxy S20 is the same 12-megapixel main module. It also has 64K megapixel telephoto and 12 megapixel ultra wide camera capable of recording 8K. One major difference in the A20 is the lack of depth-vision sensor.

Samsung has also introduced an ultra-sonic under-display fingerprint reader for security this year.
The battery capacity of this phone is 4000 mAh. It can be charged with 25W virus and 15W wireless charging.

Both the S20 phones are IP68 certified, meaning they are distant and somewhat water proof. Like the Plus model, it also has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with Snapdragon 865 or the Ignis 990 chip. At 20, Samsung has offered just one storage option, but its storage can be expanded thanks to the microSD card available in it.

This phone will be available in cosmic, cloud blue and cloud punk colors.
The 4G, 8GB / 128GB model of this phone starts at 900 euros while the price of the FiGG model is 1000 euros or $ 999.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S20 and 20 Plus have already begun while their delivery will begin on March 13. Upon pre-ordering, Samsung will be giving them a pair of Galaxy Bands Plus worth 170 euros for free. Remember that the forgery version of this phone is only available in basic configuration….
